What Still is

Still is a daily presence ritual. You tend a light and keep a private record. This release does not notify other people if a day goes dark. It is not a medical device, monitor, life-alert pendant, or emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

Your account

Notes, your circle, and any emergency card live on your account so they can follow you across devices. We do not sell that writing or show it to the people in your private circle. You can start from nothing at any time; that wipes the ritual data tied to the account. Password-reset email may be sent only to the email on your account, only when you ask to reset a password, and only while recovery email is enabled.

Still+

Still+ is not offered on this release. This release does not connect to Stripe or take payment cards. Any future paid plan, price, checkout, and refund terms will be published before it becomes available.

Alerts

This release does not send missed-light notices by text, email, or call. Do not rely on Still to contact another person or arrange a welfare check.

If you turn on the check-in prompt, Still can show the day’s line in the app after your chosen hour. It does not provide a guaranteed background reminder or emergency alert. Turn the prompt off anytime in You.

Safety

Still may show crisis resources if your writing suggests serious self-harm risk. That is not medical care, diagnosis, or continuous monitoring. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988.

This release may show crisis resources but does not notify people in your circle. It is not a substitute for 988, a clinician, a welfare check, or people who already know to look in.

Privacy

We keep what you write, who you named, and the account data needed to run this release. Sign-in uses the methods shown in the app. We do not sell personal information. The current processors are hosting, database, and transactional-email providers. Resend receives the account email and password-reset message only when you ask to recover your account. Any future card or phone processor will receive only what it needs to run an enabled service. See the privacy policy.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should know you are using Still. Do not put a child’s contact in your circle.

Permission

This release does not collect a circle contact method or send notices. Do not use Still to harass anyone. If delivery is later offered, it will require the relevant consent and an updated notice before use.

If something fails

Delivery can fail. Phones die. Numbers change. Inboxes fill. Still does not promise that a message arrives, is read, or that anyone looks in. Still is not liable for missed welfare checks, delayed or failed notices, or anything you do or do not do after a light stays dark. Use it as a ritual, not a guarantee.

Leaving

Sign out anytime. Starting from nothing clears the light on this account. You can download a copy of your ritual from You. Deleting the account removes your light, private circle, and sign-in on this service. This release has no active Still+ subscription to cancel.
